I am a Senior Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience spanning healthcare technology and academia. Currently contracted to Loyal Health, a platform dedicated to connecting patients with the right care, I maintain and scale the data infrastructure powering decisions across 35+ health systems — from preserving legacy reporting to centralizing and automating the pipelines that keep critical insights flowing. I hold a Master of Science from the University of Michigan School of Information, where I also spent two years teaching statistical analysis, Python programming, and applied data science to undergraduate and graduate students.
I believe the most meaningful work is work that creates real, positive change in people's lives — and healthcare is where that impact runs deepest. I feel fortunate that the data I work with traces back to real people, and that the systems I help build can make their experience a little easier. At my core, I am driven by a deep desire to build things that matter and to leave every system, team, and community I touch a little better than I found it. That is the thread running through everything I do.

Roots
I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal 🇳🇵, where I learned the value of community and resilience. In Nepal, large-scale data collection is still emerging as a field. Without vast historical datasets, much of our understanding comes from oral histories and lived experiences from diverse local communities. This perspective has shaped how I approach data science — not just as numbers, but as narratives waiting to be uncovered.
Journey
I earned my undergraduate degree in Applied Data Analytics and Economics from Wesleyan College, then joined Loyal Health, a healthcare technology company, advancing through enterprise data operations roles. I completed my graduate degree in Information & Data Science from the University of Michigan, and am now back at Loyal as a Senior Data Analyst, focusing on streamlined reporting and interactive dashboards for healthcare clients.

My work spans machine learning, natural language processing, network analysis, and business analytics, applying statistical modeling and data visualization to uncover insights and drive operational improvements.
