I am a Senior Data Analyst with 6+ years of experience spanning healthcare technology and academia. I began my career at Loyal Health, a platform that connects patients with the right care, building the integrations and checks that kept provider and location data accurate across Google, Bing, and the other third-party sites patients use to find care. Three years and one promotion later, I left to earn my Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan School of Information, specializing in Big Data Analytics. For both years of the program, I was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching statistical analysis, Python, SQL, and applied data science to 500+ students across three courses, and was nominated for the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award. After graduating, I returned to Loyal on the analytics side to lead client reporting. Today, at Latitude Health, I design end-to-end, client-facing analytics for utilization management, from tracking how prior authorization requests move from intake to decision to measuring review turnaround against SLA targets.
I believe the most meaningful work is work that creates real, positive change in people's lives, and healthcare is where that impact runs deepest. Behind every appointment, health record, and prior authorization is a person waiting on care, and I feel fortunate that the systems I help build can make that wait a little shorter and their experience a little easier. At my core, I am driven by a deep desire to build things that matter and to leave every system, team, and community I touch a little better than I found it. That is the thread running through everything I do.

Roots
I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal 🇳🇵, where I learned the value of community and resilience. In Nepal, large-scale data collection is still emerging as a field. Without vast historical datasets, much of our understanding comes from oral histories and lived experiences from diverse local communities. This perspective has shaped how I approach data science — not just as numbers, but as narratives waiting to be uncovered.
Journey
I earned my undergraduate degree in Applied Data Analysis, with a minor in Economics, from Wesleyan College, then spent three years at Loyal Health, a healthcare technology company, advancing through enterprise data operations roles. I went on to earn my Master of Science in Information, focused on Big Data Analytics, from the University of Michigan, and returned to Loyal as a Senior Data Analyst to lead client reporting. Today, I build utilization management analytics for health plans at Latitude Health.
Expertise
My work spans healthcare analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing. Professionally, I design end-to-end reporting in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and PostgreSQL, turning raw operational data into dashboards that teams rely on. My projects showcase predictive modeling, text analysis, network analysis, and interactive visualization, using tools like scikit-learn, NLTK, PyTorch, NetworkX, and Tableau.
